"J'ai travaillé au sein de la Maison. Mauvaise ambiance du travail, culture d'entreprise terrible. Manque du professionnalisme et de sérieux par rapport aux procèdures de sélections. Cons: Ambiance travail, culture entreprise, procédures selection"

"- Opportunités de développement assez limitées. Cons: Peu/pas d'avantages. Ambiance de travail."

Luxury Jewelry Stylist and Specialist (Former Employee) says

"At this time I do not wish to disclose any further information about the company which I worked for."

Approvisionneur (Current Employee) says

"Une journée de travail typique"

Stage - Recherche de style (Former Employee) says

"en temps que stagiaire il est très agréable de travaillé pour cette grande entreprise de luxe, très ouvertes à l'apprentissage."

Doorman (Current Employee) says

"This company is an okay company, pretty slow paced the customers can be nice, very nice luxury jewelry. Managers are okay, overall satisfied with this company. The hardest part is standing there for a long period of time with dress shoes, not the most comfortable position. staff can be uptight. Cons: staff can be rude"

Current Employee - Manager says

"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels full-time Cons: Incompetent, unethical and crude newly arrived upper managers along with some new people in other important departments completely lacking any common sense, sophistication or basic humanitarian values. The company completely lost the sense of basic decency and dignity. Focus is strictly on profit, no consideration to human value."

Sale Associate says

"I worked at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: No skills in management, no clue about a budget, no attention to the security of the jewels. Dsicounts were applied to. The one I worked with cannot represent the French and glamour elegance the House is proud of. She must work in a outlet dresses stores and learn about mangement and human ressources. She had no talent to lead a team. It cannot serve the name of the Maison."

says

"I worked at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: The work enviorment is toxic, the upper management are manlipitve, mean, condensending. There is so much gossip in the office its disgusting. They have no clue how to treat people with respect, nurture and grow thier employees. There is no room for growth."

says

"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: The boutique atmosphere is extremely toxic. The sales associates are out of control and constantly fighting on the floor. Management has no control of the sales associates and there is no consequence for poor behavior on behalf on sales associates. The sales associates treat other employees like servants and often make condescending, derogatory, and abrasive remarks. It appears that the boutique managers have created a facade for the corporate supervisors as behavior is dramatically different when they are present. There is back stabbing and you learn very soon that you can not trust anyone."

Current Employee - Supply Chain Manager says

"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Very conservative, only French white people, lack of fairness in talent management, very political at all levels"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Van Cleef & Arpels full-time for less than a year Cons: -Sales associates are rude and mean -The working environment is very hostile -People are arrogant"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Van Cleef & Arpels full-time for more than a year Cons: Very poor management - most of them lack any business skills. To call this company political is overrated. (they're simply not capable to) Any one who has a bit of sense would question their day to day operations. They have no strategies at all (but pretend that they do), most people are there all their lives so they don't really know or understand how the real world functions or compete. It's such a pity, such a high profile name with a back end staff as this is just laughable. There are only a handful of good people in there and those who acknowledge the problem either can't or won't do something about it. To give you pure figures, in the 14 months I've been with the company, there's a turnover rate of 22 people, and this office alone only sits 40 - you do the math."

says

"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: Difficult to move up in management"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels full-time Cons: management very biased and you are treated like a servant!!!"

says

"I worked at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: Majority of upper-management lacks business skills with a jarring inability to take and make strategic and clear decisions. Insecurity and disorganization is clear with fall-out being a lack of ownership for any direction and consistent finger-pointing of 'fault' directed to the lowliest employees. General moral and frustration is low for many in this environment and impedes overall productivity and creativity."
